Classic Imperial Cities Trip 8 Days / 7 Nights:

This 8-Day Tailor Made Tour covers the bustling city of Casablanca, Imperial Rabat, Meknes, the Roman Ruins of Volubilis, the Holy City of Moulay Idriss, UNEXCO Fes and Marrakech.

Day 1: CASABLANCA

 

Upon arrival at Casablanca airport, you will be picked up by our team and taken to the hotel where dinner will be served.

Day 2: CASABLANCA – RABAT

 

You will begin this first day with a panoramic tour of Casablanca, the economic capital of the Kingdom. You will see its main neighborhoods and all its sites of interest: Mohamed V Square, the United Nations Square and the beautiful Corniche Ain Diab lined with swimming pools and gourmet restaurants, with at its peak the Hassan II Mosque. You will then leave "Casa" to go to Rabat, modern administrative capital, ancient imperial city ordered and flowery. You will visit the medina, Kasbah Oudayas, Hassan Tower and the magnificent mausoleum of Mohamed V.

 

Day 3: RABAT - MEKNES – FEZ

 

Departure from Rabat for the holy city of Moulay Idriss (first sultan of Morocco) and then Meknes, the "Moroccan Versailles". Founded at the end of the 17C, the city is surrounded by a triple 40 km enclosure and formed of two agglomerations: the Medina, which has the most beautiful gate of Morocco, Bab El Mansour, and, on the other side, the new and modern city. After the visit, you will continue to Fez.

Day 4: FEZ

 

Your whole day will be spent visiting Fes, the oldest imperial city and the religious capital of Morocco. You will visit the medieval medina, the Medersas Bou Anania and Attarine, and the entrance to the Qarawiyyin Mosque, one of the oldest universities in the world (9C). Then you will see the beautiful Nejjarine fountain, as well as the most beautiful souqs of Morocco

Day 5: FEZ - IFRANE - BENI-MELLAL - MARRAKECH

Departure for Marrakech, by a beautiful and very diversified route. You will first cross the region of the Middle Atlas through Immouzzer Kandar Lake Ait Aoua, wonderful setting, then lfrane, charming ski resort in the heart of a beautiful cedar forest where rivers abound . You will stop and relax in the picturesque Beni-Mellal before continuing to Marrakech. Little by little, as you approach Marrakech, you will see the red earth marrying the blue of the sky and the green of the palm trees.

Day 6: MARRAKECH

You will not have too much of your day to visit Marrakech, the "Pearl of the South", founded in the 11th century by the Almoravids. Your visit will include the Saadian Tombs (16th century dynasty), the Dar Si Said museum, the Agdal and Menara gardens, the Koutoubia, the Bahia Palace, the tanners and dyers district. In the afternoon, you will visit the souqs and the alleys around the Place Jemà ¢ in El Fna, classified in the universal patrimony by UNESCO, where the show is permanent, with storytellers, snake charmers, sellers of a thousand beverages, fire-eaters, musicians and artists of all kinds

Day 7: Marrakech - Atlas Mountains – Marrakech:
Departure by car from Marrakech around 8h in the morning for 1h20 drive south up the Moulay Brahim Gorges, Asni weekly market every saturday, then to Agersioual (1,600m), set in the upper level foothills of the Western High Atlas mountains, Here you will leave the Vehicle and meet your local guide prior to setting out for some 12km excursion. towards the East  to the Berber village of AIkkiss   (1,700m), Over Tizi n agersioual pass (2200m). Lunch  taken inside a Berber Home (or by the river) then carry on walking up the Imnane valley then over Tizi n Tamter pass (2779m) , From here one can view the two valleys, down into the Imlil Valley and back down to the Imnane valley.  Another 1h30 trek down from here will take you to the village of Imlil where you will transfer back to Marrakech, night.

Day 8: MARRAKECH - CASABLANCA

Departure for Casablanca Airport.
